“Whiskey” is grain spirits distilled in Ireland and the United States, and “whisky” is Scottish, Canadian, or Japanese grain spirits.

American Whiskey

American Whiskey or rye whiskey must be distilled with at least 51% rye and aged for a minimum of two years
